Information and purposes
We use your email to verify your identity and manage your account. A request includes company and contact names, verified email, delivery postal code, products, quantities and notes; phone is optional. Necessary delivery details may be requested during follow-up. We use this information to prepare quotes, record your acceptance, fulfil orders and provide service. Avoid sensitive information in notes. This site does not request banking details.
Registration and consent
You may browse without an account. An account and necessary contact details are required to submit requests and accept quotes. Registration and requests do not subscribe you to marketing. Withdrawing consent may prevent us from continuing a service; legal record-retention obligations still apply.
Providers and processing outside Quebec
Cloudflare provides hosting, databases, security and Turnstile. Resend delivers login codes and service emails. Emails sent to info@rivesudpro.ca are saved in our mailbox and forwarded to the operator’s authorized Gmail account for follow-up. These providers may process information outside Quebec, including in the United States. We do not promise Canada-only hosting. Access is limited to necessary staff and service providers; suppliers and carriers receive only details needed for an order. We do not sell your information.
Retention
Accounts and unconverted inquiries are not automatically deleted for inactivity. We retain them while a continuing, documented service or follow-up purpose justifies retention, with periodic review. Once that purpose ends, information is securely destroyed or anonymized under applicable rules, unless legal retention applies. Active orders are kept throughout processing. Completed orders and necessary tax records are generally kept for at least six years after the end of the last fiscal year to which they relate; litigation, an authority’s request or another obligation may require longer retention. This approach also covers necessary copies in service tools and backups according to their handling cycle.
Codes, cookies and security
A login code expires after 10 minutes and is single-use; verification records are cleaned up after 24 hours. The essential session cookie expires after 7 days and can be revoked by signing out. Product selections remain in your browser session storage. Turnstile processes technical security signals; abuse counters use derived identifiers and expire by the end of their window, at most 24 hours. We do not install advertising or marketing analytics tools. HTTPS, restricted access and session verification protect exchanges; no security measure eliminates all risk.
Rights and complaints
For access, correction, a structured copy of eligible information, withdrawal of consent, or deletion where permitted, contact Grace Kuo at info@rivesudpro.ca. We will verify identity proportionately and respond within applicable deadlines. Use the same contact for complaints. You may also contact Quebec’s Commission d’accès à l’information.
Changes
This page states its update date. We will bring material changes of purpose or newly required consent to your attention before applying them.
